What are UTM parameters?

UTM parameters are tags added to a URL's query string (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) that analytics tools read to report where visitors and conversions came from.

Which UTM parameters are required?

utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign are the core three. utm_term and utm_content are optional and mainly used for paid search and A/B testing.

Does the QR code expire or need an account?

No. The QR code is generated locally and simply encodes your URL. It never expires and there is no tracking layer or redirect in front of it.
